About Me
I'm a front-end developer with over 9 years of experience building thoughtful, high-quality interfaces in React and TypeScript. I specialize in bringing designs to life through robust component libraries, interactive dashboards, and seamless UI systems.
I gravitate toward projects that contribute to something meaningful in the world. Whether it's building tools for social good or helping purpose-driven teams move their mission forward, I enjoy working with people who care about what they're creating.
I live on a small farm in the Santa Cruz mountains with my sister and her family, where I balance my work with surfing, yoga, and a dedicated meditation practice. I'm also training as a somatic coach — a path that deepens my commitment to presence, listening, and authentic collaboration.
I thrive in fluid, interdependent teams where design, engineering, and product come together around a shared vision. If you're looking for a front-end partner who brings depth, thoughtfulness, and reliability to your project, I'd love to connect.

Past Work
Autodesk's Alloy Design System
I led development on Autodesk's Alloy React component library, building a robust, accessible, and type-safe design system used by more than 30+ feature teams. I created and maintained over 60 core components in React and TypeScript, improved Storybook documentation, and ensured design accuracy and accessibility throughout. My work established a consistent UI foundation for teams across the company that balanced full customization with ease of use.

Alloy Table Component
I designed and built the Alloy Table component from the ground up with performance, flexibility, and developer experience in mind. Throughout the process, I gathered developer feedback and conducted internal research to shape a composable API that supports custom cells, column grouping, sorting, selection, sticky headers, responsive layouts, and full accessibility. Now widely adopted across Autodesk, it's the standard for complex data display in all construction products.

Autodesk Takeoff's Carbon Accounting
I brought carbon insights directly into Autodesk Takeoff, making it easy for estimators to see the environmental impact of their materials as they work. I built the front-end interface that displays these calculations in real time, helping teams make more informed, sustainable choices.

Autodesk Model Coordination's Advanced Filtering
I developed the advanced filtering system in Autodesk Model Coordination, allowing users to isolate model elements by properties like discipline and category. I integrated filters with the Model Tree and implemented saved views to boost workflow efficiency and consistency. By combining filters with object coloring and an interactive table, I enhanced users' ability to focus on relevant data during clash detection and reviews. My work streamlined complex model navigation and improved collaboration across project revisions.

CoverHound Commercial Insurance Quote Flow
Rebuilt CoverHound’s main insurance quote process into a dynamic, data-driven form that adapted in real time to user input, product type, and underwriting rules. Created reusable form components, centralized validation, and a configuration system that let non-engineering teams update flows without code. The result was a faster, more intuitive, and scalable quoting experience used across multiple insurance products.

CoverHound Landing Page
I rebuilt the CoverHound.com landing page in React, with a focus on performance and usability. I designed and implemented the responsive navigation menu from scratch, making it intuitive across devices and easy to update as the site evolved.

Pebble Calculator
A tiny, whimsical calculator built in Godot with pixel art charm. Built from scratch — code, art, and animations — as a personal project to explore Godot and dip into pixel art creation.
